How to Get Started.
We're thrilled with your decision to be part of Walking People Out of Poverty this August! With every step you take, you’ll be helping hardworking entrepreneurs along their own journey out of poverty. Below are some simple steps to get you started.
Once you’ve registered your fundraiser, you will receive an email with everything you need to get started. If you don’t see it, be sure to check your spam/junk folder.
The email will include your personal fundraising link to share with your network as well as a link to your fundraising profile. On your profile, you will be able to create/change your name for your fundraiser, upload a picture, set a goal and add a personal message.
You’ll also be able to access a list of everyone who has donated to your fundraiser so you can send out a personal thanks.
Pick an activity, distance, route, and date for your fundraiser, you can pick any date/timeframe that works for you and/your team.
Share your fundraising link with your network to start raising funds. You can speak with people one-on-one, send personal emails, or post about your fundraiser on social media.Â
