1. What Information Do We Collect?
At OIC, we collect various types of personal information depending on your relationship with us. Some information is provided directly by you, while other data is collected passively or automatically as you navigate our site.
Types of information collected include:

Insight Trip Participants: Personal details, travel and insurance documentation, medical history, emergency contact information
Staff and Volunteers: Resumes, performance records, emergency contact information, payroll details

We use this data to process donations, issue tax receipts, send updates about our programs, and improve our services. You may choose to remain anonymous or limit the data you provide, though this may affect our ability to provide certain services (for example, issuing tax receipts).

9. Risks of Harm and Other Consequences
Despite safeguards, all digital systems carry some risk. In rare cases, data breaches could result in identity theft, financial loss, or reputational harm. OIC mitigates these risks through secure technologies, staff training, and internal safeguards.
