Zinabu's story...20 years later.
More than 20 years ago, Zinabu Abu arrived in Tamale with determination and a small loan of $100 from Sinapi Aba. She started by selling sachet water, then light soup and drinks, steadily growing her dream into a thriving restaurant loved by students and professionals alike.
But Zinabu didn’t stop there. With courage and vision, she built a 28-room guesthouse—now consistently fully booked—creating jobs and steady income for her family and community.
Having faced hardship herself as a child, Zinabu is passionate about giving back. Today, she supports around 40 orphans and is working toward her next dream: building an orphanage to provide children with education, stability, and hope.
Zinabu’s journey is a powerful reminder that when you give a woman an opportunity, she is unstoppable!
