One opportunity that changed everything for Senayda.
Senayda and her husband earned an income by renting vehicles for their taxi service from others, but they dreamed of owning their own. She sought loans from traditional banking providers but was denied.
Then, one day her life took a pivotal turn when she was introduced to Opportunity International Canada's partner in Honduras, IDH. Only IDH was willing to loan her the funds needed to turn her dreams into a reality. “They didn’t care how I looked. They trusted me and gave me the loans I needed to build my business."
When provided with opportunity, Senayda not only built a thriving business but was empowered to build a better life for her family.

Opportunity International Canada is a registered charity in Canada (#87751 6385 RR0001). Donations generate charitable tax receipts in accordance with Canada Revenue Agency guidelines (canada.ca/charities-giving).
Yes! We accept email transfer donations to donations@opportunityinternational.ca. We recommend this for larger donations to save on transaction fees!

Charitable tax receipts are distributed annually in early February for the previous year. If you have any questions about your gift or require an immediate receipt, please email connect@opportunityinternational.ca.
Your donation will be credited to the program/project requested. Your gift is being accepted with the understanding that when the need for the program/project has been met, the remaining restricted donations will be used where most needed.
