Hosting an Opportunity MarketDay
Teach Students about Entrepreneurship
By hosting a MarketDay, you will engage your students in an experience where they form small businesses, decide on a product or service, create business plans, conduct research, and develop budgets. They then produce, promote, and present their offerings in a real market setting.
Empower Students to Take Action
By participating in MarketDay, students not only learn about microfinance but also about how they can actively contribute to eradicating poverty by empowering other entrepreneurs to build better lives for themselves and their families through microfinance.
Provide Support to Families in Need
What makes MarketDay truly special is that a portion or all of the net proceeds generated can be donated to Opportunity International Canada. We provide formal acknowledgment of your group’s generosity and updates on the life-changing impact your efforts are making!
