In Haiti, ultra-poverty, a subset of extreme-poverty, grips families in a cycle of hunger, exclusion, and hopelessness. But there is a proven path forward. Alongside Opportunity International in Canada and Germany, our implmenting partner, Fonkoze is expanding the “Pathway to a Better Life” program, a powerful, multi-dimensional approach that’s helped over 9,000 women transform their lives from the ground up.
This 18-month initiative will support 300 women, most of whom have never had access to financial tools or a formal education, with personalized coaching, life skills training, small business start-up support, and improved housing, sanitation, and health. Village Savings and Loans groups will help participants build resilience and take the next steps toward financial independence.

With your support, these women will provide their children a meal each day, become leaders, business owners, and change agents in their communities. Together, we’ll bring lasting dignity and transformation to families who’ve long been left behind and empower them to rise.
Join us in bringing hope and transformation to Haiti.
