Stefanie joined Opportunity in 2015 and brings more than 20 years of experience across the nonprofit and private sectors, specializing in philanthropy, donor relations, stewardship, and community engagement. She is passionate about building meaningful relationships with donors and connecting them to the life-changing impact of Opportunity’s work around the world.

A longtime advocate for the organization, Stefanie supported Opportunity as a volunteer before joining the team. Her commitment to the mission has been strengthened through visits with clients and partners in Latin America, most recently in the Dominican Republic. There, she met entrepreneurs whose confidence, resilience, and hope have been transformed through Opportunity’s programs. She was particularly inspired by the dedication of Opportunity’s local partners, whose innovative, client-centred approach is helping families build brighter futures, break cycles of poverty, and create lasting change that extends across generations and throughout entire communities.

Stefanie lives in Southwestern Ontario with her husband, Richard, and their three sons.
