This Fall, you can participate in a 5 KM group walk in Fort Langley on Saturday September 19, 2026. Every step you take and dollar you raise will help a hardworking entrepreneur take their own step on their journey out of poverty.
Six women from three provinces are walking 3,560km – the distance from Calgary to Winnipeg to Toronto – to raise funds in support of women’s groups in the Dominican Republic. Through life skills and financial literacy training, women are gaining knowledge, confidence, and support as they save for more secure futures and start small businesses to break the cycle of poverty.
