Madeline learned to save for the first time through a women’s savings group. Wanting to start a business, she purchased just three fans, selling them successfully for a profit. She then took out a small $230 loan, purchased more household products and reinvested her profits to grow her business. Just 18 months later, Madeline and her mother manage their own store – a growing and thriving business in their community. Within one generation, life will never be the same. Most of all, her daughter’s future has been changed forever.
